World Citizen Award

Like all Awards, this one can be transferred to the Scout Sash when the Cub moves up to Troop.
Outcomes
Individually or as part of a team, Cubs develop a broad and higher level skill and knowledge about the Canadian multicultural mosaic and Canada's role in the world community.1
Requirements
To achieve the World Citizen Award you must complete the following:
- Earn the Purple Star.
- Earn a total of three of the Canada and the World related badges as follows:
- (a) The World Religions Badge or the Religion in Life Emblem,
- (b) The Aboriginal Awareness Badge or the Canadian Heritage Badge,
- (c) One other Canada and the World related badge of your choice (excluding the Language Strip): International Trade Badge, Space Exploration Badge, or World Cubbing Badge.
- Choose a current affairs topic of your choice and follow it in the news for at least one week. Report on what had happened and how people were involved.
- Participate in a pack meeting which highlights Canada's role in the United Nations, such as a U.N. night.
